Legal Disclaimer
The Velvet Table provides event rental items and related styling services for private and professional events. By booking with us, the client acknowledges and agrees to all rental terms, policies, and conditions outlined in their contract and invoice. All rental items remain the property of The Velvet Table at all times and must be used with reasonable care. The client assumes responsibility for all items during the rental period from delivery or pickup until return. Any loss, damage, or misuse of rental items may result in additional charges. While we take great care in the preparation, delivery, and setup of all items, The Velvet Table is not liable for any injury, accident, or damage that may occur during the use or display of rented items at the event venue. Event timelines, venue conditions, and third-party vendors (including venues, florists, planners, and coordinators) are outside of our control. The Velvet Table is not responsible for delays, restrictions, or failures caused by third parties or unforeseen circumstances.
All bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until a signed agreement and required deposit have been received.
The Velvet Table reserves the right to update policies, pricing, and terms at any time without prior notice.
Privacy Policy
The Velvet Table values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. We collect only the necessary information that you voluntarily provide to us. This information is used solely for the purpose of delivering our services and event rentals. We do not share, rent, or sell your personal information. Data may be securely stored for business and service-related purposes, including managing inquiries, bookings, and event coordination. By using this website and/or signing a rental agreement, you consent to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.
Refunds
The initial 50% booking deposit is non-refundable, as it secures your rental items and event date. However, we understand that plans can change. We are happy to reschedule your event or allow rental item exchanges within 7 days of booking, subject to availability of the new date and items. If the remaining balance has already been paid and you need to cancel, we will gladly refund that balance. Additionally, we can hold your initial deposit as a credit for up to 60 days, which may be applied toward a future event, based on availability. Our goal is always to remain flexible while ensuring each event is thoughtfully prepared and reserved for you.
Invoices
The Velvet Table will invoice the client upon request. The client agrees to pay the invoice(s) by the due date(s) specified in the rental agreement. Unpaid or overdue invoices may result in cancelation.
